Sigma Alpha Iota holds national conventions every three years to conduct Fraternity business and recognize chapter and individual achievement. Due to the pandemic, National Convention was delayed for a year, but we are happy to be meeting again. Our theme for 2022 is "Music is Our Call" and it promises to be a fabulous time to reaffirm what membership in SAI means- friendships that last a lifetime, great performances, opportunities for personal and professional growth and the joy of sharing music with each other.
In order to keep all Convention attendees safe, the National Executive Board has established the following requirements:
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all participants attending our National Convention.
- A COVID-19 booster shot is strongly encouraged as extra protection.
- Masks will be required at all times in the Convention hotel and meeting rooms.
- Seating in General Sessions and at scheduled meals will incorporate appropriate social distance recommendations.
